Mandatory requirement for Nurseries and Childcare practices to implement CCTV.
We, the undersigned, call for the implementation of mandatory CCTV cameras in all nurseries and childcare facilities. Implementing surveillance in childcare settings, such as nurseries, is a proactive measure to ensure the safety, well-being, and accountability of both children and caregivers.
This is to ensure the safety of our children, provide transparency, and allow parents to monitor the well-being of their children in real-time. Due to the increasing number of incidents of neglect and abuse in childcare settings, we believe that surveillance will help protect vulnerable children and offer peace of mind to concerned parents. CCTV footage should be made available to parents on request or during nursery hours, promoting a safe and secure environment for all.
