All new builds to have photovoltaic panels and suitable battery storage unit.
Instigate a new law requiring that all new housing builds and new build structures must automatically include photovoltaic roof panels and suitable electricity storage battery units. New build exemptions should be very few with the reasons for allowed exemptions to be fully defined.
Solar power electricity generation is something which will benefit elements of our future life and will also greatly assist global and national targets to be achieved.
The UK is and will be encountering a significant number of new-build homes and structures which will account for a highly significant square meterage of roof area. This area could be generating energy.
The cost of such bulk installations would be minimal versus individual retro fitted installations.
