The government must reverse their policy to cut disability benefits.
The government must make statute, to reverse their policy to cut disability benefits. It goes without saying that in a fair country, that lays claim to a set of civilised values, that the rich should bear the costs of filling a proclaimed £22 billion black hole.
Our Welfare state was set up primarily, to look after our most vulnerable citizens. It was not created to remove, as a gross incentive, to force the disabled to look for work in our short term, low waged, insecure, competitive, deregulated, free market economy.
The nations disabled must be sick with anxiety with this news, and this is an immoral policy.
Government is elected to serve the people, not to harm the people, as these cuts will, when in place.
