Make it illegal to take photos or videos of minors without consent.
It is our responsibility to keep children and young people safe, particularly in this digital era where content online can be uploaded and spread to millions of people in seconds. We want the Parliament to make it illegal to take photos or videos of minors without consent.
There has been an increase in news coverage regarding strangers taking photos or videos of children without consent at parks, safari parks etc. It is everyone's responsibility to keep young people safe from harm and young people should be allowed to protect their digital privacy. There is no need for strangers to take photos or videos of minors they don't know, therefore it is our responsibility to make this illegal to protect their privacy and autonamy.
