Implement measures to reduce child poverty

Petition Details

It’s not OK that almost a third of UK children (4.5 million) live in poverty. I want the Government to:
-Lift 620,000 children from absolute poverty by removing the 2-child limit and the benefit cap
-Increase child-related benefits in line with inflation or average earnings (whichever is higher)

Additional Information

I am a full-time working single mum-of-three. Despite being in the top 25% of earners, I am impacted by the two-child limit, and rely on food and baby banks. My third child is exempt from the same state support awarded to his two older siblings. Ending child poverty is both a moral imperative and the best economic strategy for growth.
