Amend Equality Act to define the terms woman and man not based on biological sex
We believe trans women are women and therefore deserve the same rights as cis-gendered women, and that trans men are men and therefore deserve the same rights as cis-gendered men. We think the rights of human beings are being stripped away by defining people based on biological sex.
We believe that people are getting their human rights taken away, because the government won’t view them in any way other than science. They are human beings and we think the UK supreme court ruling that the legal definition of a woman is based on biological sex, is more harmful to these human beings than you realise. Many trans people and non-binary people have mental health problems such as anxiety, depression and eating disorders. We think this is only going to get worse.
