Introduce a legal requirement for transgender and non-binary only spaces
Where trans and non-binary / gender non-conforming individuals are excluded from single sex spaces in line with their affirmed gender, we think organisations should be required to provide dedicated genderless or trans spaces in lieu.
We think this is needed as a result of the recent Supreme Court ruling. We think the provision of safe spaces free from discrimination and harassment must be provided. We believe trans women in men's spaces are more at risk of actual, psychological and physical harm and that the government must provide for reasonable alternatives in light of the court ruling.
