Any shop that has Black Friday sales has to pay the whole cost of any police call out
There have been dozens of call-outs of Police around the country because superstores like Tescos and ASDA had 'Black Friday' events and failed to plan for the crowds in terms of in-store security and the incidents caused by hundreds of shoppers competing against each other for 'bargains'.
Tax payers should not have to foot any of the bill for this ill-thought out marketing event, and all the costs of the police and ambulance call outs should be paid for by the shops.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Deployment of police to such scenes is an operational matter for forces - govt cannot intervene in operational policing matters.
