the Conservative government promised that within 5yrs of power people would be on £15000 minimum before tax, instead they froze it,labour had the chance to scrap this unfair cap yet decided to keep it, I call on the labour government to scrap this cap from 2026 tax year

Additional Information

this is an unfair cap on the poorest of society, with pensions nearing the cap pensioners will be worse off, and younger people struggle to buy a house,

The standard Personal Allowance is £12,570, which is the amount of income you do not have to pay tax on. We are not sure what you want this figure to be changed to.
