Broadband Service Reliability - No Backup - Poor ISPs

Additional Information

The internet is now an integral part of our daily lives. It’s importance in both our Social and Commercial activities is so dominant, that it’s availability and reliability should that akin to the supply of Electricity, Gas, Water etc. However, we appear to be in the clutches of Companies (aka Internet Service Providers) that offer little in the way of respecting that PIVITAL role, their social and economic importance, or even an ability to provide a Backup service ‘to keep the wheels turning’. OFCOM is a fist wrapped in bubble wrap. It’s time these, very profitable, Internet Service Providers were obliged to offer a sudo flawless service, as we have now come to expect from our Energy Providers.
