Keep the fundamental protections for nature provided by the Habitats Regulations

Petition Details

Keep the Habitats Regulations and supercharges nature restoration protection. This is the most important and fundamental protections we have to safeguard our nature and wildlife, which is threatened by the new proposed Government bill. We should be protecting our natural habitat not destroy it.

Additional Information

We are 89 seconds to midnight on the doomsday clock. We should be doing everything in our power to protect our natural environment, bees are on the decline, 30% of bird’s in the UK are at risk of extinction but the Government is continuing to destroy our habitat for profit, which we can all see. Climate change is the most important agenda for our survival and the Government is continuously threatening this. The UK has been stripped of its nature. Action is needed to protect our precious nature.
