Allow a majority of the electorate to pass a vote of no confidence in Government
Parliament should debate and take a vote based on the will of the people as demanded by the number of signatures to the petition.
Because a Government could obtain a General Election victory based on unfulfilled promises or simply could be incompetent in office.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept petitions about appointments, which includes calling for a vote of no confidence in the Government. This is set out in the Committee's standards: petition.parliament.uk/help
If you're concerned about a particular policy or decision that's the responsibility of Government or the House of Commons, you could start a petition about that.
