Set a cap or reduce amount car insurance company’s can charge new drivers
Cap the amount insurance company’s can charge or reduce the cost to make it more affordable for normal people
Affordable car insurance is essential for economic mobility and access to work.
In many regions, especially where public transport is limited, owning and operating a car is a necessity—not a luxury. If insurance prices become unaffordable, people risk driving uninsured (which raises costs for everyone) or being unable to get to work, education, or healthcare. This deepens inequality and limits economic participation, especially for low-income families, young drivers, and rural residents.
So, capping or making insurance more affordable isn’t just consumer protection — it’s an investment in economic inclusion and social mobility.
