Review Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill’s impact on non-school settings

Petition Details

Ensure the Bill does not require full-time non-school settings, including youth clubs, enrichment programmes, and religious or cultural centres, to adhere to the Independent School Standards if they are not providing full-time academic education in place of a school.

Additional Information

We feel the Bill could unfairly classify youth clubs, enrichment groups, and cultural centres as schools, restricting their freedom to operate. We believe this would be an overreach that could limit educational diversity, harm community life, and goes against British values of freedom, diversity, and voluntary learning choices.
