Introduce a National Children's Day for VE day on 8th May and fund celebrations

Petition Details

We would like the Government to fund celebrations for children marking the remembrance of VE Day and the veterans who we feel gave their lives so our children can have a future. We want this day to be funded by the Government and rolled out to all cities.

Additional Information

We think it could be a patriotic day celebrating the United Kingdom. We want the Government to fund t-shirts with the Union Flag printed on them and flags for children. We'd also like the Government to fund special events for communities including food, music and videos. We think it will be a day to remember.
