Introduce a law to protect patient advocates in NHS treatment

Petition Details

Create a legal duty for NHS trusts to respect written patient advocacy consent and ban coercive consent overrides. We believe this could help protect vulnerable patients from being isolated, silenced, or denied treatment options.

We believe this could help ensure patients aren’t isolated or misled when they need support the most.
