Petition Action

Have schools take anti-bullying and diversity inclusion more seriously.

Petition Details

Inclusion and anti-bullying shouldn't be reserved for the "special" or "popular." Every student deserves safety and respect. Schools must prioritize real D&I policies, staff training, clear consequences, and open dialogue. It's time for urgent, accountable action to protect all students.

Additional Information

Inclusion and anti-bullying efforts often only matter if a student is seen as "special" or "popular." This mindset is harmful. Every student deserves to feel safe and valued. Schools must take D&I seriously with real policies, staff training, student input, and curriculum integration. Nearly 1 in 5 students report being bullied—this must change. We need action from school leaders to create respectful, inclusive environments where all students can thrive. Our future depends on it.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.

You may wish to sign this petition which calls for mandatory anti-bullying programmes to be introduced in schools:
