Petition Action

Stop giving suspended sentences to people convicted of animal abuse.

Petition Details

Stop giving suspended sentences to those who abuse animals especially in cases where animals are left to die in what basically amounts to torture. A life time ban on keeping animals should also be mandatory. Offenders with children should also be subject to social services investigations.

Additional Information

Too many animals are being abused and dying slow painful deaths. The pathetic sentences handed out are not a deterrent, we need to send a message to these kind of people that it will not be a slap on the wrist and that they will receive substantial sentences.
