GCSE’s are having a too big of an impact on teenagers mental health.
Change the educational system for example different ways on completing GCSE’s such as online more common or through all years of secondary not just at once, like a GPA (grade point average). And put less pressure on students.
GCSE’s are having a huge mental health impact as gcse’s are labelled as “most important exams of your life” as a 15-16 year old this could have a mental and physical toll on the teenagers due to the pressure not only from parents, teachers but as a society as a whole to avoid negative judgement for not passing gcse’s. Not every child has the same method of learning, so making every child in the UK sit on the same level GCSE’s is irrational.
