Recognise the State of Palestine
We urge His Majesty’s Government to formally recognise the State of Palestine as a sovereign nation, based on the pre-1967 borders and in accordance with international law. This recognition should be unconditional and not contingent upon future negotiations.
The humanitarian crisis in Gaza has escalated dramatically, with over 53,000 Palestinians reported killed and nearly half a million facing starvation due to prolonged blockades on essential supplies.
Recognising Palestine would reaffirm the UK’s commitment to justice, equality, and international law, and would contribute to a viable and lasting peace in the Middle East.
