Ensure all MPs have to give direct answers to questions and not obfuscate.
"This is not a serious question" and "look at the last government's record" are becoming routine answers to questions asked in parliament.
Such theatre and tribalism. It's undemocratic. MPs in the house should have to provide a direct answer to any questions rather than obfuscate with whataboutery.
I am sick and tired of serious questions being ducked and avoided in parliament by tribalistic assertions. Particularly in PMQ sessions.
A straight forward question should receive a straight forward answer.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament as a whole aren't responsible for the issue you raise. Order in the Commons is the responsibility of the Speaker, and Members are responsible for their answers to questions.
