Require the regulation, watermarking, and labelling of generative AI content.
We call on the Government to require clear labelling and watermarking of all AI-generated content to prevent public deception, protect trust, and ensure transparency. Regulation is needed to balance innovation with accountability and safeguard democracy.
AI-generated content is harder to spot, enabling enabling fraud, scams, identity theft, and misinformation. Without clear labelling, the public faces real harm. We urge regulation, with fines or sentencing for those who deliberately use AI to mislead, to protect democracy and ensure transparency. This is in order to protect people, uphold democracy, and ensure transparency and accountability, for both corporations and individuals.
