Additional Information

We, the undersigned, request Her Majesty’s Government to recognise the courage and self-sacrifice of all those currently fighting the Ebola epidemic in Africa and give serious consideration to the institution of a medal, to be awarded to both British service personnel and British civilians alike, who have risen to the challenge and taken part in this emergency, providing not only succour to the sick and dying but also by their example inspiring others to rise to future challenges in the service of their fellow man.
