Require companies to offer equal adoption and parental leave policies

Petition Details

We think adoptive parents should have the same parental leave and pay as birth parents. Some employers offer enhanced maternity pay but not adoption pay. We think this is unfair. We ask the Government to make equal leave and pay for all parents a legal requirement.

Additional Information

Adoption is an equal route to parenthood. We think families formed through adoption face unique challenges and deserve the same support to bond and care for their child.
