This Petition seeks to introduce independent emotional support (provided by BACP counsellors with proven experience of this field) for surgical and non-surgical cosmetic patients to replace the marketing and commercial 'patient advisors' who put profits before patients. This Petition seeks to create well-informed patients with realistic expectations through patient-centred dialogue via website, phone, email and face to face so that patients can make informed decisions.
