Petition Action

Allow parents up to 5 days a year to take children on holiday.

Petition Details

Allow parents up to 5 days per academic year to take children on holiday in term time based on their behavior and attendance on the understanding it would not fall in exam times.

Additional Information

A summer holiday can easily double or even triple in peak times making it unaffordable for parents to take their children on holiday, which leaves children missing out on valuable family time and core memories.

Peak times are also more busy and overwhelming for children with special educational needs and family’s like mine are unable to take their children away in these periods.
