All UK homeless citizens should be prioritised for hotel accommodation
We believe that no one should be living on the streets. Many of these individuals are ex-servicemen, and support does not seem to be available to everyone in our society. In contrast, millions is spent every day on hotel accommodations for people who have entered the UK illegally.
We believe it is both right and morally acceptable to provide homeless UK citizens with accommodation before offering it to those who have broken the law to enter our country. Access to housing should be a basic human right for all UK citizens.
We find that the Government and Parliament as a whole are failing in their duty of care, which we consider morally incomprehensible.
