Create a legal right for adults in hospital care to a named advocate

Petition Details

Legally ensure every adult patient has the right to a named advocate or support person with them throughout their hospital stay, similar to rights given to children.

Additional Information

As a paediatric nurse, I see daily the positive impact of allowing parents to stay with children. I think adults should have this right too. This change would improve care, dignity, and recovery outcomes.
