Petition Action

Al Sweady Enquiry - LAWYERS MUST APOLOGISE TO BRITISH SOLDIERS AND TAXPAYERS

Additional Information

Public Interest Lawyers and and Leigh, Day & Co have been urged by Michael Fallon to issue an "unequivocal apology" to the soldiers who had been put through the six-year judge-led inquiry after being accused of abuse. The lawyers have refused to admit fault.

The Government is urged to investigate the actions of these law firms which have cost millions in taxpayers money and caused years of unneccessary stress and uncertainty to the soldiers.
