Require companies to employ minimum 70% UK nationals before sponsoring others
We believe 70% of employees in a company should be UK nationals. The government should set this as a requirement for any companies requesting a Sponsor License, Certificates of Sponsorship, or License renewals.
We urge the government to require all UK registered companies (excluding the NHS and Health Sector) to employ at least 70% UK citizens before sponsoring overseas employees on Skilled worker visas.
We believe this would help to reduce immigration, reduce employment rates and develop skills for locals.
