Petition Action

Set a limit on a temperature in which employees and contractors can work.

Petition Details

In extreme heat, it’s essential that there is protection for the health of people working and a safety net in place to prevent the NHS from being overwhelmed with patients affected by the heat.

Additional Information

The majority of countries have these protections in place but it’s only in fairly recent years that the UK has begun to experience extreme heatwaves and that the problem has begun to arise in the workplace.
