Transparent housing prices
A market to be efficient must be transparent.
The housing (letting & sales) market, especially in London, is showing clear signals of concerns.
To restore the "equilibrium" of the market, the influence of intermediaries should be reduced and the awareness of the customer (either lessee or purchaser) increased.
Once the transparency will be restored, the market will very likely align on fair values for the befefit of all parties.
To restore transparency, a bill should be introduced to the Houses of the Parliament upon which the seller, landlord/landlady and/or the agency shall be obliged to discolse the property's price of sell or let in the previous 5 years from the date on which the contract is agreed.
