Require clear labels on all meat showing method of slaughter for all consumers
I want the government to make it mandatory for all meat and poultry to be clearly labeled by slaughter method—halal, kosher, stunned, or non-stunned. This will protect religious freedom, ensure transparency, and allow everyone to make informed food choices without unknowingly violating their beliefs
The government must protect Sikh religious rights by requiring all meat to be clearly labeled by slaughter method. Currently, halal meat is often served without disclosure, prioritizing Muslim dietary laws but forcing Sikhs to unknowingly break their faith’s rules. This lack of transparency is unfair and infringes on religious freedom. Mandatory labeling will ensure equality, respect all beliefs, and allow everyone to make informed, ethical food choices with dignity.
