Permit children with a EHCP up to 5 days of authorised absence from school
I believe children with an EHCP should be granted a 5-day allowance for holidays during quieter times, helping them avoid overwhelming and crowded environments.
I kindly request that you consider allowing up to 5 days of authorised absence for children with an EHCP. This would greatly benefit those who find busy, crowded environments overwhelming. Every child deserves the opportunity to enjoy a break without the added stress of sensory overload or difficulty with self-regulation.
