Introduce tighter regulation of online crowdfunding sites

Petition Details

Crowdfunding sites can be useful to bring young projects to fruition, however we believe current regulations for consumer protection on crowdfunding sites are insufficient.

Additional Information

We want the UK government to provide better consumer protection for citizens using these kinds of sites, which may be based in the USA, to help protect them from potential scams. UK credit card companies can help to a degree, but in some instances they might not be able to.
