ban toxic inferior lead flashings being fitted to all new build properties and fit new safe alternatives

all new build properties in the last 16 years have been fitted with inferior lead flashings from abroad that starts to rust, tear allowing water into the property itself and it also becomes unsightly detracting from the property value ,creating a danger as lead is toxic and reactive and can have an array of health issues especially for children, google the dangers of lead, or lead poisoning.
houses three hundred years old don't have this problem as their lead will not rust or tear and stays looking the same for hundreds of years.
used by the Romans some say to their demise, also lead use in factories and industry, the dangers have been recorded for hundreds of years, so why haven't we learned from this, this can be contributing to so many health issues but no-one seems to be aware problem that can be resolved simply using the alternative materials, lots of other countries have banned this product, it as dangerous as asbestos.
