Reduce the recurring miscarriage threshold from 3 consecutive losses to 2
Reduce the defined threshold for recurrent miscarriage from 3 consecutive losses to 2, to allow families to access NHS funded testing and treatment earlier and to provide mental and physical support to women experiencing these tragedies.
I believe fertility testing and treatment should be available to women and families who have experienced more than one miscarriage or pregnancy loss to reduce the physical and emotional impact that can contribute to severe trauma. Families should not be expected to experience 3 losses of life before the NHS funds explorative testing or preventative treatment.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
The definition of a recurring miscarriage is a matter for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, not the UK Government or Parliament.
