Don’t lower the voting age to 16.
Do not proceed with plans to lower the voting age to 16 and keep it at 18.
Many 16-17 year olds lack the maturity to vote in elections. They are also far more prone to radicalisation on social media. Many also lack enough political education to make an informed vote. If any member of the cabinet were to spend some time with a Year 11 class they would understand this.
