If over 16's can vote, then they can buy tobacco, buy alcohol and get a tattoo.
If anyone over 16 can vote, then they should be able to buy tobacco, alcohol and get a tattoo. In fact, all laws which at present prevent over 16's but under 18's from doing things needs to change. If you are old enough to vote, then you are taking full responsibility for all of your actions.
It is ludicrous to allow a person over 16 to vote in elections, but not allow them to buy cigarettes or alcohol, or leave home without consent from an adult. So many age restricted laws need to change kn order to allow 16 year old to vote.
