Stop the destructive and irreversible proposed plans to destroy our Greenbelt.
Cannock Chase is clearly an individual case and its misleading to say we have large areas of Greenbelt when in fact majority is protected areas. It is essential we retain what limited Greenbelt our villages have for our future generations and local wildlife, and prevent our small villages merging.
Developers land banking should be forced to develop these areas before using small villages and towns Green Spaces. Small towns and villages such as ours with very limited road infrastructure, school and doctors places, are being forced to increase house building to supplement unrealistic housing development and local plans. Particularly surrounding areas to the Greater Birmingham and Black Country Housing Market Area, are being subjected to unsustainable pressure.
