Repeal the Online Safety Act to Protect Privacy, Access & Free Speech
Repeal the Online Safety Act. Its invasive age verification risks doxxing & is forcing websites to block UK users, hurting privacy & access. It burdens small platforms & stifles free speech. We need genuinely safe, balanced legislation.
Petition to Repeal the Online Safety Act 2023
The Online Safety Act is failing. Its invasive age verification risks doxxing users and forces websites to block UK citizens, stifling access to vital online communities and information. This disproportionately burdens small platforms and chills free speech. We need a new approach that genuinely protects users without sacrificing privacy, access, or freedom of expression. Repeal the Act and create balanced, effective legislation.
