Petition Action

Restrict the time that contracts can be signed to the length of parliament.

Petition Details

It seems that parliament locks us into long contracts and a new government is tied to them. It’s not an efficient way of spending tax money.

Additional Information

Situations change and we are tied to long contracts which are no longer relevant

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do - we're not sure which contracts you would like this to apply to.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
