anyone who wrongfully accuses someone of rape should get a fine/ up to 10 years.
people that wrongly accuse someone of rape and it’s proved that it’s a lie should be a criminal offence as it can ruin someone’s whole life and reputation
the government should have an investigation each time someone is accused and there needs to be solid information against someone. if it ends up being that someone has wrongfully accused someone due to spite and/or any other wrong reason it should be an offence and should get a fine and/ or up to 10 years in prison depending on the case example if they publicly tried to accuse and lie using the other persons name, the charge should be bigger.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Perjury is already a crime so we're not sure what action you would like the Government to take.
