We need to change the requirements for the spouse visa for the UK, it's unfair!
I feel the yearly income is way to high, and should be more of a realistic expectation.
I know having a spouse from certain countries can be more of a risk, however certain countries we work closely with (USA, NZ, CAN, AUS, and some other European countries) should have an exception.
It honestly is heartbreaking seeing people being truly in love with one another but unable to actually be together all because of money. Which isn't fair at all?
Are we punishing people for loving one another?
So many of us are struggling and feel failed by our country.
Is it fair to let your people suffer?
We need to make a difference, and soon.
People have a right to be with who they love and by putting these high requirements in with no lenience is causing lovers to be separated.
