In this year’s general election only candidates who get 50% of the votes of their constituency can be elected as a Member of Parliament.

Additional Information

The government are proposing that a strike can only be called when at least 40% of the union members agree to the strike.

To make this fair then in this year’s general election. That only candidates can be elected as a Member of Parliament. When 50% of their constituency turnout to vote including postal votes.
