Offer annual PSA tests for prostate cancer detection for men aged 50 and over.
Similar to bowel cancer testing offered to everyone aged 50 and over
Approximately one in eight men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer. There are very few early symptoms, but if detected early , treatment is usually effective. An early diagnosis and treatment could save men having a prostectomy operation, and save lives.
