Removal/ censoring of graphic scenes and imagery ( including verbal) from main stream news programmes, radio broadcasts and news papers
Media has become far too graphic in its communication of the news which can be greatly damaging to society's well being. Its dramatic portrayal of news stories intensifies the hurt felt by the victims and their families. It also limits parents freedom to choose what their children should see and hear due to the constant media presence in our communities.
