A GE should be called if this petition receives more votes than the Government

Petition Details

Labour ‘won’ the last election with fewer votes than that of the previous election and support for the Government has drastically fallen. In any other walk of life such incompetence would have resulted in dismissals but in this case there are no mechanisms (for the Public) to elicit change,

Additional Information

The government’s majority in the House of Commons arose more by default (apathy towards incumbent Government) than positive support. However, one year on, it is apparent that the publically expected change has significantly been for the worse, not the better! The Economy is slowing, business confidence is diminished, unemployment is up, job vacancies are down, inflation is up and the ‘gangs’ have not been smashed....rather they appear to have been emboldened
