Petition Action

call for knife amnesty Chelmsford

Additional Information

My brother's best friend Ashley Woolley, 18, was fatally stabbed in Oaklands park, Chelmsford just weeks before Christmas. The 2nd of 3 stabbings in the city in less than a month and Essex police claim there is no knife problem in the city. This has to change. Please sign this petition to force the appropriate authorities into issuing a knife amnesty in the city.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

To hold a knife amnesty particular to Chelmsford would be for local authorities and the local police force to decide.
