Compulsory eye tests for all drivers regardless of age.
Introduce compulsory eye tests for anyone applying for and already holding a UK driving license.
Eye tests for the over 70s is fine, but a huge number of drivers in other age groups have poor vision. If safety is the reason for the over 70s to have mandatory eye tests, then the same criteria should apply to all drivers. Anyone who declines an eye test should have their license revoked. I'm sure insurance companies and the NHS would agree.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We don't know when or how often you would existing license holders to have their eyes tested.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
